Client: StyleMathôt is a Haarlem-based printing company, handling everything from small print runs to tens of thousands of copies, including packaging and record sleeves for the music industry.
About the case
StyleTransfer is a tool we created for StyleMathôt, a Haarlem-based printing company that specializes in commercial and promotional print, with clients including record labels and chocolate brands from around the world.
Working with clients like these means StyleMathôt regularly receives large, print-ready files, album artwork, packaging designs, and prepress work. Since their clients aren't limited to the Netherlands, the tool needed to work for international senders too, so StyleTransfer is available in both Dutch and English.
To solve this issue, we built StyleTransfer, a tool that lets anyone upload and send large files directly to the right person at StyleMathôt. Instead of routing through a shared inbox, senders choose exactly who should receive their file. It doesn't matter whether that's a specific staff member, a known client, or a department like Prepress or Printen.
The main tasks included:
- Building a custom large-file upload tool for StyleMathôt
- Routing files directly to the selected recipient or department
- Adding confirmation email functionality for senders
The goal was to give anyone sending StyleMathôt large print files a fast, direct way to reach the right person.
Approach
To achieve our goal, we needed to make sure that large files reach the right person without getting lost or requiring the receiving end to figure out who they're for.
Our approach included:
- Building a dedicated upload tool that handles large file sizes
- Letting senders choose the exact recipient, staff member, department, or client account, at the point of upload
- Adding an optional confirmation email so senders know their file was received
This way, StyleMathôt's clients and partners are able to send large files directly to the right person.
Results
StyleMathôt now has a dedicated way for clients, partners, and prospects to send large print files directly to the right person.
