Accessible to students, freelancers, working professionals, and many others, the platform allows users to show companies that they are looking for a job or a collaboration. Companies can showcase who they are, their products and services, and even publish press releases.

SamenZakelijk was developed in collaboration with Digital Economy Hub, an innovation hub focused on supporting digital entrepreneurs and fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and networking.

The main idea behind SamenZakelijk was to:

  • Be able to showcase companies and profiles
  • Provide a user portal where users can manage their profile and/or company
  • Allow users to add vacancies, cases and press releases
  • Discover companies and profiles from various sectors, specialisms and regions
  • Build credibility by allowing users to publish and manage their content
  • Make it easier for both companies and users to connect and collaborate

The goal was to create a platform that allows users and companies to connect and collaborate while increasing their visibility.

Approach and Development

The first step in building SamenZakelijk was to figure out how to turn our goal into a platform. We started putting the foundation of SamenZakelijk together so users could add their company, provide some information about themselves to showcase who they are, and allow those companies to publish posts, vacancies, products and services. People visiting SamenZakelijk can then discover companies and filter by sector.

As SamenZakelijk grew more and more, so did our ideas. After reviewing these ideas and feedback, we then discussed how we could expand SamenZakelijk. This led to several additional features being introduced:

  • Individual user profiles to showcase your experience, skills and about you
  • Planning and participating in events with other companies
  • Company scores that show how much information a company has provided.
  • Verification badges to show that your company is trustworthy
  • Find companies based on their region and location
  • Connect company profiles between SamenZakelijk and BedrijfsVestigingsadres
  • Improvements to the overall flow and user experience of our platform

With all these additions, SamenZakelijk grew into a platform that is accessible to more people and companies, while making it easier for users to showcase themselves, discover each other, and build connections.
