About the case

Stichting Open Coffee Maastricht & Heuvelland (OCMH) is a nonprofit foundation that brings together freelancers, SMEs, students, and jobseekers across Maastricht, Limburg, and the wider Euregio through monthly networking events. As the foundation's technical partner, 4BIS Innovations built and maintains their website on WordPress, using Divi as the page builder.

OCMH organizes an Open Coffee nine times a year, hosted at a different location each time, from wineries to colleges to business venues across the region. The website needed to support that rotating program clearly, alongside an e-magazine, information about the board and organization, and a way for visitors to become a donor.

As technical partner, our role goes beyond a one-off build. We support OCMH on an ongoing basis, keeping the site running smoothly as new events, editions, and content get added throughout the year.

The main tasks included:

  • Building the website in WordPress with Divi
  • Setting up a program and events structure for recurring editions at different locations
  • Building the e-magazine section
  • Pages for the board, the organization, and the story behind Open Coffee
  • A donor flow for visitors who want to support the foundation
  • Ongoing technical support as the foundation's long-term partner

The goal was a site that's easy for the board to manage themselves, event after event.

Approach

Since OCMH runs a new edition almost every month, each at a different venue, we set up a program structure in Divi that lets the board add a new event, location, and description without needing a developer involved every time.

Our approach included:

  • Setting up WordPress with Divi as an easy-to-manage foundation
  • Building reusable templates for events and locations
  • Structuring the e-magazine as its own content section
  • Adding board and organization pages that reflect who's behind OCMH
  • Setting up the donor page and contact flow

The result is a site the board can update themselves for each new edition, while we stay on as technical partner for anything beyond day-to-day content changes.

Ongoing technical partnership

As technical partner of the foundation, 4BIS Innovations doesn't just deliver the site and step away. We keep WordPress and Divi up to date, monitor that everything keeps running, and help out whenever OCMH wants to add something new, whether that's a fresh event format, an extra page, or changes to how the program is presented.

This ongoing role includes:

  • Keeping WordPress, Divi, and plugins updated and secure
  • Supporting new events, editions, and locations as they're added
  • Helping expand the e-magazine and program over time
  • Being available as a technical point of contact for the board

Results

OCMH now has a website that keeps pace with a busy events calendar, run by volunteers and board members without technical backgrounds, backed by 4BIS as their technical partner.
